Another Allergic Girl!

Also, she was featured on CNN!  Yay!  I am so happy when allergy awareness blows up over the mediasphere.

Sometimes I get humbled about my allergy to just nuts (okay, technically, peanuts are a legume so two species of things to cause allergies) and this is one of those times.  Not that fear of death doesn’t consume my life every time I see something edible.  But it could be worse.  I feel like I rely on luck (it’s quite a thrill living dangerously) quite a bit when eating anything anyone else has made, so I can only imagine relying on luck and circumstance for such a large volume of potential (cross-) contaminants.
